Biden Already Campaigning To Disarm American Population – Is He Right?

Comment:

In a previous discussion on this subject, I held to the general opinion in the UK – “no to guns!” I always understood the arguments about the right to self-defence and the possibility of a Government turning rogue but it seemed so unlikely that our Government(s) would turn rogue to the extent that we had to, literally, fight for our freedom, that it didn’t change my view.  Now… I’m much more open to the arguments for an armed population.  Why now?  Well, living under four “rogue Governments” – Westminster, Holyrood, North of Ireland and Wales – there’s no escaping lockdowns, nowhere to go to live as a free person in the UK.  The tyranny is mostly benign at the moment – except for those in open rebellion when we see the police tactics usually associated with totalitarian regimes.  Think riot police in Trafalgar Square, London during clearly peaceful anti-lockdown protests.

The argument in favour of an armed population has now taken on a new legitimacy, not to say urgency, in my view – as we discover that the next White House administration – led by Joe Biden (until they can shove him off into a nursing home and replace him with Kamala Harris) – is already plotting their campaign to disarm the population – click here to read more…

So, what – having viewed the above video and read the WND report – is your considered opinion… Is Joe Biden right to campaign to disarm the American population? Remember, it’s being sold as a “health” issue and we all know how easy it is to get people to hand over their rights in the name of a “health” issue. It worked with the Coronavirus “crisis” scare – will it work for the anti-Second Amendment lobby?  Will the American people hand over their guns as willingly as we, in the UK, have handed over our personal and religious freedoms?   I hope not. What about you?

Anti-Catholic US Democrats Oppose Trump’s (Catholic) Supreme Court Pick…

Comment:

Just imagine, for a moment, the outcry if those anti-Catholic Democratic politicians had quizzed a Muslim, or the member of any other religion, in the way they put down Amy Coney Barrett due to her religious beliefs.  Just imagine the outcry in the media. What is it about Catholics, that we take such hatred “on the chin”?

And why do Catholics in public office seek to allay the fears of our enemies by saying things to the effect that their religion won’t interfere with their professional obligations?  No point in being a Catholic at all, if that is the case.

What else could Amy Coney Barrett have said in response to the question about her Faith and her work as a Judge? Perhaps point out that it could never be the case that true justice would be opposed to anything taught by Christ and His Catholic Church?  Words to that effect?  What, then?

Trump Impeachment: “Star” Witness’s Fake Evidence Hilariously Exposed

Comment:

Having caught the headline delivered with sombre affectation by the Sky News USA correspondent, Amanda Walker, prior to the televised hearings, and smelling the usual stitch-up, I decided to switch to the Parliament Channel and watch the proceedings live.  I’m glad I did because what I saw (including the above hilarious clip) bore no resemblance to the later Sky News reports which I made a point of watching for comparison purposes.   Apparently unaware of the the irony of her words, Amanda Walker took the camera to a particular woman in the queue waiting to go into the hearings, because this woman wanted to hear the evidence against the President for herself, “she doesn’t trust the media” confided Amanda to those of us, feet up in our living rooms, saying “neither do I!”  Below, the headline just taken from the Sky News website…

Impeachment inquiry: Donald Trump ‘overheard asking about investigations’ Top US diplomats are giving evidence to a televised impeachment inquiry which could see the president removed from office.

Now watch the hilarious clip from this afternoon’s hearings and ask yourself if Donald Trump is even close to being removed from office.

For the purpose of this discussion, though [and I’m assuming that bloggers will have read John Ingram’s Open Letter to Anti-Trump Catholics in America, published on page 6 of our current, November, newsletter], the question has to centre on this:  whether Catholics have any option but to vote Trump into a second term  – given his excellent pro-life record and the fact that he is hated beyond words for it, by his political opponents who, it seems, will go to any and all lengths, even blatantly lying, to get rid of him.

If ever an impeachment inquiry was – manifestly – contrived, this has to be it… Or maybe you disagree?
