Muslim, Not Catholic, Parents Fight LGBT Indoctrination in Schools…

Sky News broadcast a segment on the “culture clash” in UK classrooms this morning, focusing on
the fact that the protest against the sympathetic portrayal of LGBT issues/same-sex “families” which began in Birmingham has now spread across England. Click here to read the Sky News report, and see small video clips.

These good Muslim parents can expect no help from Catholics, sadly, because, according to a report emailed to Catholic Truth by one of our watchful readers south  of the border, the Bishops of England (with one exception) have welcomed the Government’s shocking new sex-education law which sees parental rights as the prime educators of their children over-ruled by Head Teachers.  Click here to read all about this disgraceful partnership with LGBT activists into which the Bishops have effectively entered.

We know that not all parents are in a position to home-school – that’s understandable.  However, what possible excuse can any Catholic parent offer for standing on the sidelines as these ever new and ever worsening laws are passed which are clearly aimed at brainwashing children with the LGBT message that sexuality has nothing to do with morality, that the natural  moral law applies only to theft and killing, not to sexual activity – how can any Catholic parent sit back and allow their children to be told that families can be made up of two mummies and/or two daddies, and that God really doesn’t care as long as everybody is happy and “loves” everybody else.

Apart from home-schooling, what can parents actually DO – should they be standing shoulder-to-shoulder beside the Muslim parents outside of schools and if not, why not.  And if not what SHOULD they be doing, because, clearly, they should be doing something to stop this brainwashing of innocent primary school children, which is effectively grooming them for a lifetime of what the Catechism of the Catholic Church describes as “acts of grave depravity”  adding that “Under no circumstances can they be approved.” (# 2357)

What right-minded parent, then, stands by while their children are being taught that “acts of grave depravity” can be approved, and more, that these acts of depravity must be tolerated and respected?

For centuries, Catholic children were taught the general Christian rule of treating our neighbour as we would each wish to be treated ourselves. That “golden rule” applies to every person in creation no matter how badly they may behave.  We treat everyone with courtesy and respect, as human beings; but that does not, emphatically, mean that we may approve their behaviour. We can easily see that with regard to criminal behaviour, but it applies, also, to all behaviour which offends God, whether or not it is breaking a human or national law.  So, to repeat – what possible excuse can any Catholic parent offer to excuse their silence on the LGBT dominance in schools?

Congratulations to the informed Muslim parents for taking counter-cultural action to protect their children.  But “congratulations” is not a sentiment that we may legitimately offer to Catholic parents today who are, in the main, going along with every immorality in the book.  So, what message SHOULD we sent to Catholic parents right now?  Printable suggestions only, please and thank you!

  1. I think the vast majority of modern Catholics in general don’t have a problem with the LGBT agenda. I’ve lost count at the amount of Catholics I’ve seen promote Pride by displaying the rainbow on their social media profiles.

I think the few Catholic parents who are concerned are probably too scared to stand out from the crowd. This is understandable to some extent as school governors, education chiefs etc are not going to pay attention to one or two voices.

Muslim parents seem much more United on this. Perhaps this is because their Imams are supporting them and preaching about the necessity to resist this evil. That’s something modern Catholics are not experiencing. On the contrary, both the Catholic Education Service in England and the Scottish Catholic Education Service are going along with it.

I have to say that once again this is another example of why parents who are serious about their Catholic Faith and concerned for the souls of their children should home educate. It’s not easy, or perfect, but right now I don’t see any alternative.

    • Petrus,

Yes, of course, if possible parents should home-educate but since we know from a discussion not too long ago that there are parents who would love to home-educate but, for a variety of reasons, just cannot do so, the question being asked here is what else can Catholic parents do?

There’s something else; even if every parent in the land home-schooled their own children, that would not remove from them the responsibility to speak out and act against the immorality perpetuated in the schools, as in wider society.

So, whatever way we look at it, Catholics – not Muslims – should be at the forefront of this battle against evil, as manifested in the brainwashing of primary school (and indeed older) children across the UK.

      • Editor,

It doesn’t seem as though modern Catholics are at the forefront of anything except surrender to brainwashing and depravity. Perhaps, if they even pay attention to our corrupt and disoriented leaders, and those who pose as leaders (like Fr. James Martin, SJ, the depravity apologist) they have been convinced that it is merciful and compassionate to “tolerate” or even accept depravity. Perhaps, if they don’t pay attention to our leaders, they simply trust the “education establishment” to educate their children as they used to, not knowing that the substance of this establishment was hollowed out long ago and replaced with leftist social engineering schemes (thanks, here across the pond, to John Dewey). Or perhaps they are just too busy making ends meet to think about it.

But no matter how you slice it, this is a dereliction of duty by Catholic parents…which actually mirrors the dereliction of duty of our Catholic clergy. I wish I knew what it would take to wake up these parents – God forbid, some heinous act of abuse perpetrated in the name of LGBS behavior?

    • Editor,

I think there’s a big difference between what parents can do and what parents will do.

What can they do? Complain to the school, diocese, education department. What will they do? Probably nothing. Why? Most will not have any problem with the LGBT agenda. Some may be uncomfortable with it, but will be outnumbered and therefore frightened to take a stand. It will be a tiny minority who do and they will be written off as nuts. It’s a desperate situation.

I don’t know about Catholic parents demonstrating with Muslims.

      • Petrus,

I can’t see why it wouldn’t be a good thing for Catholic parents to join in the Muslim protests. It really shouldn’t be a religious thing anyway, as has been pointed out on this blog loads of times (mostly about abortion, but I think the same principle applies) because the natural moral law applies to everyone, religious or not.

I’d be in favour of Catholics demonstrating alongside Muslims on this and other moral issues, but it should be strictly on the moral issues. I wouldn’t try to turn it into a religious issue by taking along statues or rosaries. I would stick to posters with clear messages about the issues.

        • Laura,

I agree up to a point but I remember hearing that Father Gruner had said at a Catholic Truth conference that the pro-lifers had made a big mistake in leaving God out of their work, only focusing on the medical facts about the child in the womb.

I suppose, though, that you could argue the LGBT issue is different, since abortion is the murder of an unborn baby and bad as homosexual activity is, it’s not in that same league. I’m probably more on the side of working alongside Muslims and other non-Catholics on this dreadful sex-ed law. I do think those Muslim parents who appeared on the TV news this morning, are very much to be praised for their bravery.

          • Margaret Mary,
It’s worth remembering that abortion is murder, so it could be argued that it IS in the same league as LGBT issues, given that both are sins crying out to Heaven for vengeance!

        • Laura,

In normal times, Catholics protesting with Muslims would be viewed as an opportunity to convert them, or at least pave the way for conversion, sow some seeds, etc. In these dark times, though, any overt attempt at conversion would probably be considered actionable – at least, in the UK police state.

  2. And so much for all this talk of “tolerance” and respect” by the LGBT+ activists. They show zero respect for Catholicism – quite the reverse; they show nothing but contempt for Catholics and our beliefs and devotions. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-48257706

One of the things that I find irritating is when those who are opposed to the LGBT+ dominance fall over themselves to seem reasonable and understanding…

We need some more straight talking about this, pointing OUT the blatant lack of respect by the LGBT+ lobby for anyone and everyone who objects to their bullying. For that is what they are doing – bullying society into accepting their “acts of grave depravity” as the Church describes homosexual acts, and using euphemism like “tolerance” and “respect” to have their “lifestyle” accepted as normal.

It’s not. And we need to say that. Loudly and clearly, if not exactly being LOUD & PROUD !

    • Editor,

“Tolerance and respect” were just ruses to get depravity’s foot in the door. The LGBS mafia is led and funded by militantly anti-Christian, anti-God people, who are, in fact, at war with God, with the Church, with Western Civilization, and with life itself. Their real agenda is to facilitate a tyrannical police state where no one is allowed to step out of line. But, they attempt to disguise this with their comforting PR about tolerance and respect.

Too bad the overwhelming majority on the side of sanity doesn’t realize that we are at war. It puts us at a serious and perhaps fatal disadvantage to be lulled to sleep by insidious slogans about mercy, compassion and acceptance, while the long knives of Satan’s minions are being thrust into our backs.

      • RCA Victor,

I completely agree about the terminology (tolerance etc) being just ruses. There’s no way the LGBT people will tolerate anyone questioning their beliefs and actions.

        • I meant to say also that they’ve even managed to get “hate” put into law to cover anyone who does dare to question their lifestyle.

      • Spot on Sir . The Tolerance and acceptance have long disappeared now it’s do what I do or we’ll get you put in Prison. The classical one was just a couple of weeks ago when a Catholic Woman on TV called a Boy who was going I think to Iceland for so called Transgender Surgery a Boy . The Police actually came to her door that day as the Mother of The Trannie Boy charged her with using the wrong Pro Noun for her son . The Catholic Woman spent over 7 Hours in a Police Cell when the Woman of the Trannie decided to drop the charge. What kind of country are we supposed to be living in where a Man says he has to be called a Woman.
Again a few weeks ago an Edinburgh Construction Worker Laughed at a Man In a Skirt . The skirted male went to the Police who had the Construction worker arrested. He was fine £500 and was ordered to pay the Skirted Pervert £500 for Hurting His Feelings . Man you couldn’t have made these stories up even 5 years ago which shows just how much ground the Intolerant Tolerant Perverts have gained.

    • Ed I was arguing with a Sodomite on Twitter then they came after me like Flies around Cow Poo . Of course the First and only argument they Have is of the Apostate Clergy who seem to go along with the Alphabet Mob and even Join in their Pride Marches. Morton from Cambuslang being a perfect example of this and of the support he received from so called Catholics on his TIE campaign. As far as the Catholic English Bishops not objecting to Sodomite behaviour there are many jokes unfortunately, that could be put up regarding them . The LGBTQ2WXYZ mob have no respect for anything that is good our own Perveted Scottish Government being a classic example of this with their own Sodomite and Transgender agenda to be forced onto our Kids . Of course I see it also with Catholics that see no wrong it seems in the Homosexual Lifestyle it’s like well, what harm are they doing. Just on the Financial side a Practicing Homosexual now gets the PREP drug free ( sorry for being so crude but this has to be said) and over their actual Sexual Lifetime it’s estimated that for each Homosexual who gets the drug free who Practices Anal Sex which is them all it will cost the NHS £250.000 for each Homosexual that is some amount of Money. If parents don’t object to Homosexuality and Transgenderism being taught in Schools the situation of course will only get worse . Going back to Bishops and this is The COE ones . When the Vote for Sodomite Marriage was taken in the House of Lords less than Half of The Church of England Bishops turned up to Vote and that’s not saying that they all Voted no . The other Half had hot dates with their Boyfriends and couldn’t make it .

  3. On the subject of being at war with the Devil, of which this LGBS turmoil is only an indicator, Lifesite News has today posted a powerful article by Dr. Roberto Mattei. Here is an excerpt:

If we apply to our own times a celebrated page written by Mons. Jean-Jacques Gaume (1802-1879), we can say: “If, stripping the mask from Revolution, you will ask: Who are you? I will tell you: I am not what people believe. Many speak of me and very few know me. I am neither the financial oligarchies, nor American globalism, nor the Russian Moloch, nor the Chinese Dragon. I am not the Islamic migrants who invade Europe to conquer it, nor the sodomites who demonstrate against the family in order to destroy it. I am neither Marco Pannella nor Emma Bonino. I am neither Obama nor Soros. These people are my children, they are not me. These things are my works, they are not me. These men and these things are short-lived and I am a permanent state.

I am hatred for every religious and social order which man has not established and in which he is not king and God together. I am the proclamation of human rights against the rights of God. I am the philosophy of rebellion, the politics of rebellion, the religion of rebellion: I am the armed negation (nihil armatum); I am the foundation of the religious and social state underlying the will of man instead of the will of God! In a word, I am anarchy, because I am God dethroned and man instead of Him. This is why I call myself Revolution, that is overthrow.”

Nihil armatum: this definition captures the essence of the Revolution, which is not nothingness, because if it were nothingness, it would not exist. But it is an organised march, an armed march towards nothingness, guided by the dark power spoken of so frequently in the letters of St Paul (Eph. 6:12; Col. 1:13; Lk. 22:53).

  4. The church can’t do anything to prevent these laws so they are appeasing the government in hopes the government will not attack them further. This happens in all states as they move in a totalitarian direction. Donatism, China, Soviet Union etc.

It is one thing for the Church to simply stay out of politics but it is another for them to sanction laws that require children to be taught that which is sin is not sin. Maybe the church should invest in some millstones to help their leadership in England? Luke 17

    • Joe,

All that you say is very true. In the UK, we are definitely well moved along the road to outright totalitarianism.

Also, it is truly shocking that the Catholic hierarchy (in both England and Scotland) is permitting children even at primary school level to be taught that “sin is not a sin”.

      I couldn’t agree more.

    • Joe

The church (by which I mean the bishops) could do something if they cared enough to try; with a tiny number of exceptions <worldwide, they either don’t care or they are in support. They are the biggest scandal of all.

  5. I am all for people of other religions getting together and speaking out and I think this Stop RSE is a good example of this ……I have given out around 3,000 plus Bulletins and cards ……I must admit the Muslims were marvelously supportive and willing to help in fact most said it was an obligation ….Polish people were also excellent and all kinds of people were deeply concerned ..some said oh well they have to learn sometime etc /best leave it to The Teachers etc but these were few
The Amazing Stop RSE petition is still going for those who havent signed

https://stoprse.com/index.php/sign-the-petition/ you will find it here

Poor Dr Katherine who really has been up front in all this has been suspended without pay over this …yet she bravely soldiers on ..SPUC it has to be said was magnificent for its generous supplies of free literature to alert people ….we still do need to write to The Education Sec who is someone told me is a Catholic ?…
The most important thing is though for good people to speak up ..as the old adage goes in “”It only takes for good men to do nothing for evil to prevail “””and I myself am extremely concerned at this pornographic /paedophilia teaching …it will also contain abortion info being used to ruin countless lives from the age of 4 I spoke to lots of Muslims in Education some teachers said they will refuse to teach it others said they will home School …No man is an island and I can tell you it was marvellously uplifting to get such a wonderful friendly reception from people ..if all goes well as I have been poorly I have to take a lot to my local Ghurdwara Sikh Temple as soon as I can for them to hand them out …if people remain insular and are not willing to reach out to each other then we will never attain our goals of a solid united front on matters of pro life ……There is a huge untapped amount of pro life to be found in black Pentecostal Churches but do pro life people approach them it is very sad I feel I speak to people who say they never hear anything pro life except talks from their Pastors and a lot do not even know pro life Groups exist ..tragic

  6. Catholic parents are now three generations away from when the faith was taught in schools, using the catechism. They haven’t a clue.

To stand up for an issue like these Muslims are doing, you need to believe strongly in that issue. Catholics really don’t have a clue, they were so easily led astray by the new teachings at the cusp of Vatican II and they’re still unaware of the implications. Only a minority of Catholics understand the issue and most of them already do home-school or compensate for bad teaching in school by teaching doctrine at home.

  7. The muslim parents show what can be done when a committed faith group refuses to be bossed around by a secular body.

Muslims are very astute at milking political capital and – as both racial and religious minorities in the UK – they know this gives them great leverage.

They also know that both politicians and the media are scared of them, given their communities invariably contain violent extremists (as can clearly be seen around the entire world).

But ultimately the main reason they objected is because they are strongly committed to their religion. They are well educated about it and fully invested in it. It is what forms their opinions and underpins their judgement.

This is not the case for modern Catholics, who are the most superficial and poorly instructed Catholics in all history. Secular culture is what forms their opinions and underpins their judgement. They think the Catholic faith is about unconditional acceptance of everything and anything in the name of “love”.

But, as the muslims showed, if you stand up for yourself, the state retreats. Granted, Catholics would probably face negative media coverage and commentary if they objected – (where the muslims did not, for reasons stated above) – but ultimately, so what?

You don’t even need to have everyone supporting you: in any population or grouping, most people will be unthinking sheep who will just go with the flow. A committed minority can easily prevail, as the muslim example in England showed.

You can bet that muslims are being exhorted in the mosques to act. Whereas Catholics will not be encouraged in the Churches, the priests are too busy talking about how brilliant the protestants are.. Bishops just want to get along with everyone and avoid conflict. They desire an easy, quiet time to enjoy their privileged lives.

Equally, no muslim will openly undermine their co-religionists stance, whereas there is no end to superficial Catholics (CINOs) who will attack both Church teaching and anyone who respects it.

Years ago, I was in the Knights of St Columba, but ultimately left when I realised that many of the members completely reject Church teaching and Christian morality (meaning the organisation is little more than a drinking club). I recall someone stating that Church teaching on homosexuality was “old fashioned” and should not be mentioned incase it upset homosexual members (!). What is funny (in a sad way) is that despite being Catholic in name only, they cannot seem to understand why their organisation is failing.

(As an aside, I would not see any problem with Catholics having joint protests with muslims, or any other group who shared a similar outlook on a specific matter. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, as the saying goes.)

I understand the situation is different in Scotland and England. I am not too knowledgeable about the situation in England, but It is wrong that parents can now only opt out of such lessons subject to the approval of a head teacher. That has the cart before the horse and should be over-turned. Right enough, if a head teacher did not respect parents wishes, then it is likely to have a negative impact on the popularity of the school – so it is in their interests to respect parents.

In Scotland the lessons are not statutory requirements, the TIE campaign ultimately failed in achieving this – which had been its central goal all along. We should not forget that and avoid handing a propaganda victory to activists, as if they got everything they wanted and swept all before them. They didn’t. And so from this we can tell that politicians – even the buffoons in Holyrood – are aware of the limits of their power, when it comes to Catholic schools.

I think the outcome in Scotland represents both ‘sides’ accommodating one another to some degree and, while I am pleased the requirements are not statutory, the SCES should not seek to accommodate anything other than Catholic teaching.

I think the current leader, Barbara Coupar is a “nice” woman with no appetite for confrontation – like a female bishop, really. A good example of this was the craven removal of reliable CTS content on homosexuality, from a high school (St Kentigern’s, Bathgate) at the first complaint. The SCES said it was not “age appropriate” (a lie) thus infantilising both the pupils and the faith.

Ultimately, that the requirements here are not statutory means they can be opted out of and parents should take advantage of this, even if it means being seen as being awkward.

Personally I would like to review the materials or content in question, as otherwise we can’t have a fully informed view. Does anyone know if there any online source regarding this? Or would you need to write to the SCES?

I know that the schools are accommodating to parents who wish to “know whats going on” – for example, our local High school (Turnbull) hosts evenings for parents to go along to review materials, so that they can make informed choices and raise concerns etc. That should not be necessary, but parents should make use of such opportunity for as long as such vigilance is required.

    • Gabriel Syme,

I agree with almost everything you say. The only issue I would dispute as that LGBT issues will not be statutory in Scotland. This isn’t true. The Scottish Government recently accepted all the recommendations from TIE. Not only will LGBT issues be taught in schools, they will be EMBEDDED across the curriculum! That means reading books with LGBT characters will become the norm. My understanding is that Catholic schools are not exempt from this. See the link below for more details:

      https://www.gov.scot/news/lgbti-education/

The SCES materials can be found here:

      https://sces.org.uk/equality-learning-and-teaching/

    • Gabriel Syme,

Just a quick comment on your perfectly reasonable suggestion that parents should have sight of the materials and content for sex-education.

Some years ago, one of our readers, a mother of ten, horrified at the discovery that her children were being subjected to explicit sex-education, went into the Scottish Catholic Education Commission office in Clyde Street and asked to see the course content and materials used.

She was told by the then Head of SCES, whose name I’ve forgotten, that she could not take the books out of the office but could stay and look at them there. A way of deterring her from staying. It didn’t deter her. She stayed and examined the course content and materials. Then she said…

“You will teach this to my children the day after Hell freezes over… I’m now after your pension.”

I’ve never forgotten her words because – apparently – they shook the hearer at the time, although, as we now know, these sexperts have nothing to fear, since they have the permission and support of their bosses – the Scottish Bishops.

I believe there are letters sent out to parents to invite them to view materials nowadays, but – incredibly – very few parents attend. I know you will be one of those who does attend, so it will be interesting to see what happens when that time comes.

Unless, of course, by then we have witnessed the Consecration of Russia and the promised fruits – which will undoubtedly include an end to this shocking corruption of children in Catholic (and other) schools.

      Roll on!

  8. I think it’s obvious that Catholic parents are not bothered about sex-education/LGBT lessons because they are Catholics in name only and see nothing wrong with corrupting the young in this way – they see it as “progress”.

    Wake up Britain!

If evidence were needed of the ideological battle raging in this nation, this is surely it!

No sooner have the Relationships and Sex Education Regulations received Parliamentary approval, than LGBT activists have started calling for their immediate review and upgrade. In a recent letter to Education Secretary Damian Hinds, drawn up by the Peter Tatchell Foundation and supported, amongst others, by actor Stephen Fry and Elly Barnes, CEO and Founder of Educate and Celebrate, LGBT campaigners are calling for statutory enforcement of even more explicit teaching about sex, and for further normalisation and promotion of homosexual behaviours and same sex relations. They argue that hetero, homo, and bisexual relations must be presented as equally valid, with no faith school opt out, and with removal of the parental right of withdrawal (https://www.theguardian.com/education/2019/may/08/stephen-fry-backs-calls-review-new-rse-sex-education-programme-schools?CMP=twt_a-education_b-gdnedu ).

Director of the Foundation, Peter Tatchell, writes that ‘political, religious and cultural sensitivities should not be allowed to thwart mandatory age-appropriate RSE in every school, including in faith and independent schools…’.
As well as making all such teaching mandatory, without exemption, the letter calls for the promotion of safer alternatives to intercourse (such as encouragement to oral sex and mutual masturbation), and says pupils should be taught about sexual pleasure and how to achieve it for both themselves and a partner, ‘with the aim of helping them secure mutual sexual happiness’ (https://www.petertatchellfoundation.org/stephen-fry-backs-our-call-to-revise-sex-education/).

However this is dressed up, the clear aim is not child protection and safeguarding, but rather the promotion and normalisation of homosexual practices and same sex relations. It is yet further evidence of the ideological struggle for control by a liberal elite, committed to the dismantling and destruction of society as we know it. These people have little in common with the values of ordinary men and women – but increasingly they seem not to care, nor even any longer to feel that they need to.

This is further evidenced by a conference currently being organised for October this year by Forum Training, a group specialising in providing professional training for a wide range of sectors, including education. The stated aim on the website is to ‘provide practical advice on the development of the new (RSE) policy and curriculum … including overcoming key challenges and potential resistance from parents, pupils and the wider community.’ (Emphasis added) (https://www.forumbusinesstraining.co.uk/product/education/rse-in-secondary-schools-conference/). The conference programme indeed makes much of preparing for resistance and possible repercussions – despite the fact that the new Regulations state they have been drawn up in consultation with parents, the majority of whom, it is claimed, think they are ‘a good thing’ (see, https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2019/924/pdfs/uksiem_20190924_en.pdf).

If the new Regulations are so good, VfJUK asks, why is there so much resistance to them? Why are activists pushing so hard to silence all opposition? And why are faith groups being marginalised, ‘demonised’, and silenced?

No, these Regulations are evidence and manifestation of a belief system whose main aim is to suppress traditional morality and Christian belief. In their invitation letter to the conference, Forum Training writes, ‘we are inviting you to attend the RSE in Secondary Schools Conference – because how this subject is taught can have a crucial impact on how pupils regard relationships for the rest of their lives.’ To put it simply, secular and LGBT activists know that to achieve their aims they have to capture the minds and hearts of impressionable children, who by definition lack the emotional and intellectual maturity to judge the truth and validity of what they are being taught for themselves.

If we do not speak up for the nation’s young, who will?

Email or write to Damian Hinds today, saying how shocked you are at calls for statutory enforcement of the controversial promotion of LGBT behaviours and same sex relations, in total disregard of the parental right, enshrined in UK and international law, for parents to have children educated in line with their religious beliefs. Say that at the very least there must be a five-year period to allow assessment for impact of the new Regulations, before further liberalising change is contemplated.

And please, if you haven’t yet done so, sign our petition to the Home Secretary:
Stop gagging free speech! Defend Christian rights!

British people typically don’t like to make a fuss, or to be seen as ‘difficult’. But it is time to wake up. We are in a battle for the soul of our nation and, if we keep quiet, we will lose! Let us make our voice heard, and stand on the Gospel. Let us claim our rights as enshrined in UK law.

    Slaughter of the innocent –
    why abortion affects us all

Since 1967 the UK has seen over 9 million abortions, 97% of which have been for ‘social reasons’, meaning there was no medical need. We allow abortion up to 24 weeks – but today, babies can survive as early as 20.

Is it right we abort ‘viable’ babies capable of being born alive?

Do the rights of the mother always trump those of the unborn child?

With almost 200,000 abortions a year, and increasing pressure to decriminalise abortion up to birth, come to VfJUK’s autumn conference setting out the case for the right to life of the unborn.

  10. How many school-age children, especially here in Scotland, have truly Catholic parents? I would suggest that 90% of children in Catholic schools have at least one protestant parent and around
80% of those never set foot in church after baptism other than the odd visit with their schools. Even their Masses are said in the school hall.

I have no evidence other than my own eyes to back up these figures.

I really don`t think many of today`s `catholic` parents are going to rock the boat unless one of their children is sent home for wearing too short a skirt or sporting a military moustache.

As for home-schooling; I`m quite sure the parents will be well monitored there also incase they step out of line.

  11. It never ceases to amaze me that most parents will obsess about their children’s’ safety, hygiene health, footwear, clothes etc., but don’t see a problem with their innocence being stolen from them. I just don’t get it! Chapeau to the Muslim community!!

    • Wendy Walker,

Your links are invaluable in showing up the LGBT push for the control of children’s minds. It’s horrifying, even involving drag artists.

I don’t know how parents are supposed to deal with this – the primary kids are too young to understand that this is all very bad stuff, so how can you teach them about the immorality of what they are being taught yet teach them to be kind to everyone, no matter what. It’s a fraught area. I was pleased to read Esther McVey MP saying she thinks it’s for the parents to decide about these lessons. Hear, hear!

  12. Since 2009, the number of children referred to the UK’s Gender Identity Clinic has risen from 97 to 2,519 – a staggering 2,500% increase.

Children as young as four are being encouraged to present themselves as the opposite sex, and are becoming confused like never before. Who or what is driving this?

A significant influence behind the spread of the transgender ideology is Mermaids – a highly controversial lobby group who have recently been exposed as spreading misinformation about the science beheind transgenderism and schools’ responsibilities under the Equality Act.

A secret recording of a training session conducted by Mermaids who had been invited into a primary school, revealed that what is being taught to both children and adults has no foundation in science and no foundation in law.

The recording also demonstrated the bullying tactics used by Mermaids’ staff to silence intelligent, reasonable questioning of their ideological position by governors and others (including parents).

Mermaids recently received a £50,000 grant from the National Lottery and also receives funding from the BBC’s Children in Need.

In their peddling of misinformation, Mermaids are shirking their responsibiity to the public and to the children they are supposed to be helping. Their concduct raises very serious concerns about safeguarding.

The reality is that up to 98% of children experiencing gender confusion find these feelings naturally resolve and become reconciled with their birth sex during or after the onset of puberty.

The number of children confused about their gender and wanting to seek treatment is escalating. Mermaids affirms the belief that children may be born in the wrong body and encourages them and their parents to seek medical treatment with scare stories and misleading figures about the rates of suicide.

Christian Concern have set up this petition to ask the Education Secretary to remove Mermaids from primary schools and also to conduct a review into their funding. It’s time to stop this radical group from spreading misinformation that could lead to potentially harmful treatments from being given to very young children!

    Sincerely,

Caroline Farrow and the rest of the CitizenGO team

PS Listen to the secret recording below! And sign the petition to remove this group from primary schools.

  13. Dear All
PLEASE consider a donation to the above these brave people need all the help they can get thank you

  14. I have just been checking the poll at the top of this page and discovered that there are three comments from a Muslim in the comments section provided by the people who provide the poll. I’ve just skimmed them and they are worth reading.

  15. Jess Philips thinks parents don’t get to “pick and choose” what’s taught to children, so why should she get to choose?

These Muslim parents are excellent. Where are the Catholics?

  16. That’s what I keep asking myself every time I see these good parents on the news. Where on earth are the Catholic parents? Do they really not care that their children are being taught it’s OK to have two mummies/two daddies, and the rest.

What about the school chaplains who are complicit in this immoral teaching? I’m appalled but we’re all getting very used to this sort of apostate behaviour. No wonder God sent Our Lady to Fatima in 1917 to warn us of what was to come. There’s just no making sense of it, totherwise. It’s the foretold “diabolical disorientation” without any question.

  17. On learning of the continuing and extending protests, I decided to email the organisers of the Muslim protests, via their website https://stoprse.com/

I’ve now had a lovely reply, very kindly grateful for our support, so let’s keep up the prayers and encouragement for these brave parents who definitely ARE putting Catholic parents (and most teachers) to shame.

  18. WELL SAID EVERYONE …and Thank You dear Editor
Let us keep the pressure up on these wicked Politicians

  19. Dear RT HON GAVIN WILLIAMSON CBE MP ..SIR
Congratulations on your new role in Parliament
I am asking you please give urgent consideration to stopping RSE from going ahead in Sept 2020
You probably will be aware of the deep concerns of people that Children from the age of 4 years will be given sex education and many are extremely upset and many have also taken their children out of School education for Home Schooling because of this …of course the far left are in total agreement with this plan and turned it into an anti LGBT controversy
It would seem H Pulley Headteacher a great advocate for RSE does not take into consideration Parents concerns as someone who labeled a 10 y o Boy a terrorist because he enquired if the School had a Prayer room

Muslim kid asks for prayer room, British school lists him as ‘terror suspect’ | ummid.com
British primary school has reported a 10-year-old Muslim boy to police on suspicion of terrorism, after he complained about not having a prayer room on a field trip, according to media reports.
    http://www.ummid.com

Children of 4 years should be enjoying sand and storys and books not worrying about sex of any sort …not just LGBT…..it really is perverse and disgusting
Thank you for your time taken in reading this
    Yours truly and deeply concerned
    Wendy Walker Mrs

Heres my e -mail to the new Education SEc

    • Wendy Walker95,

I don’t think it can get any worse – THREE year olds, having sex change operations? Are these people totally mad?

Joint statement of Muslim Scholars & Imams on LGBT row in schools
Posted by: Letters to Islam21c in Campaigns, Current Affairs, Editorials, Europe, Latest, Opinion, Politics, UK 6 hours ago 0

    01000000
Beliefs about “sexuality” and LGBT in particular have been the subject of news coverage recently, due to hundreds of Muslim parents in Birmingham protesting at the actions of their children’s school senior leadership.

The United Kingdom is a multicultural society. The Muslim community is by no means the only community here, and while we encourage constructive, respectful debate of ideas, we condemn one community’s opinions and beliefs being forced upon others, no matter how big or small.

We, the undersigned, are inheritors of a scholarly tradition which from its inception enshrined a methodology for ensuring peaceful coexistence of different peoples, customs, beliefs and even legal systems. Whether it was different religious minorities having judicial and civic autonomy, or different schools of thought among Muslims having overlapping jurisdictions, tolerating differing opinions to relative degrees is in the DNA of Muslim scholars, and something our wider society today would do well to learn from.

One such thing we urge policy makers and executors to pay close attention to is the important distinction between facts and values. It is a fact to say that some people regard same-sex relationships as appropriate, due to their philosophical and moral views; and some people do not—just like it is a fact that some people regard eating meat to be appropriate and some do not. But to go beyond the facts into saying “It is OK and normal to…” is in the realm of values, which should not be imposed on people who disagree.

The types of relationships a person or community regards as good or bad, appropriate or inappropriate, normal or abnormal, are not the result of hard facts, but a product of many interacting beliefs and cultural norms about, for example, the purpose of life, desires and impulses, and conceptions of love, among other things.

Passionately believing in a cause or moral standpoint is one thing, but then enforcing it on others is unacceptable.

There is a clear and unambiguous acceptance in law that the primary givers of philosophical, moral and ethical values to children are their parents. Schools—or anyone else for that matter—may only educate in these areas on behalf of the parents.

When there is a conflict between the philosophical, moral or ethical positions of parents and teachers, schools must respect this and ensure teachers do not transgress the fact/value boundary mentioned above. This includes ideologically or socially-constructed norms which some may passionately believe to be universal facts whilst others do not—such as concerning “sexuality” or “gender”.

It goes without saying that we likewise affirm the rights of those who disagree with our opinions to do so without fear of insult, bullying or any type of oppression whatsoever. However, we also expect the same in return—particularly not being subjected to state enforcement of values and philosophical convictions.

We should respect and tolerate our differences, without the enforcing of some people’s positions on others, especially children.

Unscripted #6 | LGBT in Schools—why are Muslim parents protesting?

    • Wendy,

“…we condemn one community’s opinions and beliefs being forced upon others, no matter how big or small.”

In other words, these Muslim scholars condemn Sharia law….

“…tolerating differing opinions to relative degrees is in the DNA of Muslim scholars.”

But it certainly isn’t in the DNA of the rest of the Muslim world…

“The types of relationships a person or community regards as good or bad, appropriate or inappropriate, normal or abnormal, are not the result of hard facts, but a product of many interacting beliefs and cultural norms…”

In other words, there is no such thing as objective truth, especially objective moral truth…

Welcome to the world of Muslim relativism – which , i strongly suspect, is a fake veneer to disarm the infidels.
