Fake News Becomes Fun News…

By far, my favourite news anchors and political ccommentators are those across “The Pond” in the U.S.A.  And my all-time favourite is Tucker Carlson. Watch the hilarious interview below, to see why…

As our regular bloggers know, every now and then we take a rest from the serious stuff and enjoy a “good clean fun” thread where we post jokes and entertaining stories/videos. This is one of those “fun” threads, in the midst of the serious topic threads, although there is a serious note to be struck with regards to the media, generally so easily fooled by nonsense “news” (think transgenderism, among other things.) Tucker is never afraid to challenge the politically correct and other nonsense – and this interview is no exception; tell us what you most enjoyed about it.

  1. I’m glad you posted this, Editor, because lately I’ve wondered if Donald Trump’s victory was not an unforeseen “accident” after all, but part of the NWO plan. I say that because his election has given them the perfect anarchist/Bolshevist opportunity to tear America apart, because now they have a high-level target – in fact, the highest secular target in the USA – whom they can smear and threaten on a daily basis with fake news.

Tearing America apart has been, after all, the strategy of international Communism for a century or more. So now all the subversive mercenary groups that were established during the Obama administration, funded by George Soros, have been fully activated to perform their paid violent missions. Groups like Antifa, Black Lives Matter (and let’s not forget CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, an unindicted co-conspirator in Muslim Brotherhood terrorism….though they are probably not on Soros’ payroll). These are the mercenaries who were active in Charlottesville, Virginia. In fact, the organizer of this “Unite the Right” event turns out to be a fellow who was part of the leftist “Occupy Wall Street” movement during the Obama years: http://dcwhispers.com/breaking-charlotsville-unite-the-right-organizer-was-occupy-wall-st-activist-obama-supporter/#XZ6vl7ywL9hpq84g.97 That is, the whole situation was a false flag operation, a set-up to perpetrate violence and blame Trump for it.

If Hillary had won, the slow grinding down of conservatives and Christians would have continued as before, but a President Trump offers the opportunity for a full-blown revolution. Satan obviously has stepped up the pace.

I also wonder if anyone has compared the present anarchist activity, including the pulling down of allegedly offensive statues from America’s past, to the Chinese Cultural Revolution under Mao. It’s precisely the same thing.

Please pray a Rosary that the schemes to destroy President Trump and the United States are themselves destroyed, crushed by Our Lady.

O Mary, conceived without sin, Patroness of the United States of America, pray for us who have recourse to Thee!

        • Franklin Delano Roosevelt, President of the USA from 1933-1945, was simply known by his initials. You mean they don’t teach you U.S. history over there? (Oops, sorry, we’re still “the colonies” to you – even though we declared independence 241 years ago. 😉 )

          Margaret 🇺🇸

          • Margaret,

“Later that same day”, I did think of Roosevelt, but decided to wait for confirmation.

Hey, they don’t teach Scottish history these days, let alone American! Actually, the children I help home-school are using an American programme (Seton) and they DO study American history so I get to learn some, as well – and it is very interesting indeed. My teenage great-nephew is working on a research paper on George Washington and I get to check it out for English – spelling is a challenge since we keep having to write defence instead of defense and so on. Still, the topic is really very interesting,

And maybe one of these days we’ll do a study on why mothers pick the strangest names for their children – I mean, I love him to bits but… TUCKER? 😀

    • RCA Victor,

I haven’t seen anything on our news in the UK about the statues, but I found this one on YouTube from Tucker Carlson (I agree he’s a great commentator, BTW)

It seems madness to want to get rid of all those statues. Like it or lump it, history is there. I am amazed at all that violence going on and yet there is no real in-depth conversation about it here. Thank goodness for YouTube!

      • Lily,

I agree. The statues and other evidence of discrimination against blacks/slavery etc. are there as a reminder of what has gone before, not a glorification of it. In fact, without tangible reminders like those statues, the whole sorry history of slavery might soon disappear from memories – and history books. The protesters are short sighted, but then, I do not believe that they are genuinely concerned about racism, they are troublemakers, beginning and end. Maybe if we start telling these nuts that the brain is an app they will start using it.

        • Ed just a little question to you concerning the Blacks and Slavery . I think I know what your answer will be but al ask it anyhow. When Ireland was a Catholic Country under the Hammer of Cromwell through to the Famine Etc .Which people do you think suffered the most . The Blacks in Slavery working in The Cotton Fields. Or the Irish Men in abject Poverty but Free…

          • FOOF

I almost deleted that comment for being off topic. Stick to the topic. It’s nothing short of ridiculous anyway to try to compare sufferings. There’s a parable about this which may help you to see just HOW ridiculous…

An old man was complaining about his particular cross in life. He complained all the time, until one day an angel appeared to him and took him by the hand into a huge room. The angel pointed to all the people in the room, showing the complainers the crosses borne by each one and told him to take his pick. Which cross would he prefer?

The old man turned away and said he would stick with the cross he had been given and, to this day, he has never been heard complaining again. Reflect.

One thing upon which I hope we agree is this: bigotry is ugly, whether it’s in the heart of an American, black OR white, a “Brit”, or an Irishman/woman. Bigotry is ugly, per se and it is sinful.

Now, please stick to the topic which is NOT slavery, but about the media and, of course, to permit us some humour in the midst of all the bad news around us. The comments about the statues must not be used to turn this into a discussion on slavery. All such comments will be deleted the minute I see them.

            • We have been lied to for a very long time – it seems since before pre 20th Century. Did you know the first slaves in America were Irish? Also sent to the Carribbean and treated worse than Blacks. You do realise the same tribe who control Hollywood have and still are the slave traders, and always play the victim. Yes, the same tribe who killed Jesus. The bankster gangsters (& boshies/terrorists).

      • Watch the video again starting at 2:44 to 2:54. What does that remind you of? Hint: 11/10/62.

    • RCA Victor,

“I also wonder if anyone has compared the present anarchist activity, including the pulling down of allegedly offensive statues from America’s past, to the Chinese Cultural Revolution under Mao. It’s precisely the same thing.”

Good point. I’ve seen some of those scenes of statues being pulled down and I keep wondering why, since there was a black President for 8 years in the USA, they didn’t go after those statues during that President’s term of office. What’s going on, precisely? If President Obama, didn’t see fit to order all such statues to be binned, why should they expect Trump to do so?

The whole “racist” thing is nonsense, underlined by the fact that Black Lives Matter advertised a social event of some kind to which whites were not invited. On the contrary, they were asked to stay away. And another college or university had a “white absence” day (if my memory is correct) where, again, white people were asked to stay away. That’s a strange kind of anti- racism platform from which to lecture the world on the evil of racism 😀

Reminds me of another piece of ridiculous racism I heard of recently…

A black boy walks into the kitchen where his mother is baking and accidentally pulls the flour over onto his head. He turns to his mother and says, “Look Mama, I’m a white boy!” His mother smacks him and says, “Go tell your Daddy what you just said!” The boy finds his father and says, “Look Daddy, I’m a white boy!” His Daddy bends him over, spanks him, stands the boy back up, and says, “Now, what do you have to say for yourself?” The boy replies, “I’ve only been a white boy for five minutes and I already hate you black people!”

      • Nice one Ed I like it . Better watch though the SNP Stasi will be wanting to shut us down as our thoughts may not be to their Liking never mind our Beliefs. As in regards to Obama . I think that the old saying of . You can fool some of the People All of The Time .Most of the People some of the Time . But not all of the People All of The Time . Applies to him except of course for the last line as he did fool all of The People All of The Time . Even to the extent that he claimed to be President of The United States of America.

        • FOOF,

Since this is an “American” thread, I feel compelled to correct your quote. To be accurate, the saying goes…You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time. Abraham Lincoln.

      • Editor

I’ve read reports that Hilary and her friends are behind this unrest, that paid groups have been formed to start a race riot that the press can then use to undermine President Trump. Sounds about right to me.

        • Athanasius,

I wouldn’t be one bit surprised – not a bit. I wish Trump had kept his promise to appoint a special prosecutor to look into her activities. (I think I’m correct in saying that he mentioned a special prosecutor – not so sure about that but he did say something about investigating her. If only…)

    • Victor that was my first thought when I saw Statues being pulled down and of course knew that Our Religion under attack from Outside and Inside will be the next . There was one Statue of Our Lady pulled down in Ontario. Of course the Police said it wasn’t a hate crime as basically it wasn’t against Islam . Also young men went into a Catholic Church In Canada and disrupted Mass again not a hate crime but had they gone into a Mosk ( and no I have not spelt it wrong) all Hell would have been let loose. On a Brighter Note it is Homosexual Pride Day in Glasgow tomorrow I pray that there will be Many Rainbows. In the Sky of course.

      • FOOF

I’m sure the forecast for tomorrow in Glasgow is rain… So, not many folks will be feeling too “gay” – in fact, most will be thinking along the lines of…

        • My my sometimes a think the bad bits in you . And here was I desperate to cut the grass tomorrow. Still every cloud has a silver lining. Or I hope in tomorrow a tremendous downpour. After all I take Pride in my Garden .

  2. The interview with the hoaxer was really brilliant. Tucker Carlson is great at his job. I wish we had him in Scotland.

The stuff about the statues is just ridiculous. I hope all those who have destroyed statues are arrested and charged with malicious damage.

    • Josephine,

I agree – they should be charged with malicious damage or something, anything!

Watching their antics, one silly female climbing up to the top of a statue, I couldn’t help thinking that if ignorance is bliss, these clowns must be the happiest people on earth.

  3. I loved the Tucker Carlson videos – the hoax one was a scream.

This thread made me think about jokes about the news. Here’s one. The evening news is where they begin with ‘Good evening’, and then proceed to tell you why it isn’t.

  4. I loved the Carlson videos as well especially the hoaxer interview, but there is a serious issue about media to be taken from these videos, which is, there just isn’t anyone in the UK media who would dare to probe interviewees the way Tucker Carlson does – even Jeremy Paxman, who was supposed to be the really strong interviewer, used to let people off the hook if they skirted round his questions. He’s retired now, and there’s nobody replaced him on Newsnight, except a string of lightweight presenters, like Evan Davies, Emily Maitlis etc – in fact they’re all lightweight on Newsnight, and James O’Brien who takes the show occasionally, is always angry or unhappy looking, maybe to give the impression that he’s pushing his interviewees, but he’s completely politically correct, as they all are, so there’s really nothing in the programme to compare with what the Americans can get on their news programmes.

    • Margaret Mary,

Don’t get too enthusiastic about American journalists on Fox News. Fox News is known as a “relief valve” to students of the NWO. That is, when public pressure builds to a certain point for real news, as opposed to the usual diet of fake news, then a minimum amount of truth is offered, such as Tucker Carlson and some other personalities like Sean Hannity (who also has his own radio show).

However, you won’t see Fox News ever dealing with the fine print – i.e. the underlying issues – of American/world life, such as: what is the Federal Reserve system and who controls it? Who are the Freemasons in key positions in government? Who are the members of the Council on Foreign Relations, what to do they do and how do they do it? What is the agenda of the Bilderberg meetings? (The agenda of the most recent one featured an intriguing item called “Donald Trump: a Progress Report.” But allegedly no notes are ever taken at these super secret meetings).

So while Tucker Carlson may be refreshing at a certain level, he is essentially just an appetizer, while the real meal is somewhere in the deep freeze.

      • RCA Victor,

I take your point, but I’ve been watching some Tucker Carlson videos and he really stands head and shoulders above any of the media people here, because of his lack of political correctness. I thought I would post this interview with an atheist – you’d just never see that here, never! If only we had just one “appetizer” like Tucker, LOL!

        • Margaret Mary,

Great appetizer! Also demonstrates that leftists rely on intimidation rather than logic and truth.

        • MM,

I LOVED that video. Brilliant. I take RCA Victor’s point that Tucker is an exception, more or less, but since we don’t have ANY such exceptions, it’s refreshing to watch him at work.

I’m also reliably informed that he has been married to the same woman for around 30 years and they have four (I think) children, so he’s definitely quite exceptional by UK standards.

      • RCA Victor,

I hear what you’re saying (!) but what you need to understand is that Tucker Carlson would be sacked in less than 5 minutes if he aired on any TV show over here. You say that Tucker is allowed in order to give the “minimum truth” but we don’t get even that! You would NEVER see an atheist grilled in the way Tucker grills the woman in Margaret Mary’s video. Just wouldn’t happen.

Every news reporter on every channel on every programme, whether news bulletins or alleged discussions/newspaper reviews, takes it for granted that the LGBT etc “lifestyle” is perfectly normal and natural and anyone who is opposed to it is “phobic” – whether homophobic or transphobic. There is just nobody challenging that agenda at all. Nobody. And, again, nobody would dare to suggest that there is anything wrong with an atheist bullying a whole town over a park bench! So, leave us with the slight consolation that somewhere, albeit thousands of miles away, there is one journalist who does challenge the PC view of the world. Don’t burst our bubble… Know what I mean?

        • Editor,

Consider your bubble intact! Speaking of non-PC opinions being forbidden, is Michael Savage (American radio talk show host) still banned in the UK?

          • RCA Victor,

Yes, as far as I know Michael Savage is still barred from entering the UK

I notice that in the USA the news broadcasters speak about “the left” (say this or that) and “the right” … Interesting. Over here, there’s virtually no difference, certainly on moral issues. They’re all to the left of Mao Tse-tung… 😀

          • For those who have not heard Michael Savage under is a short clip from his talk show.
” In a time of universal deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act ”
            George Orwell

          • John,

Thank you for that. Tucker Carlson is calling out the Southern Poverty Law Center in the interview below. Their name is misleading – they’re not a nice group of generous lawyers caring for the poor, they are a malicious propaganda group…

      • RCA Victor, Of course they are never allowed to call out the Synagogue of Satan and their hundreds of disguises and lapdogs behind the secret world govt. Vat II is held captive. Google Fr Charles Coughlin, who ran the most popular radio station in Depression America, 1930’s. International bankers, Federal Reserve etc. He was huge and courageous. Active ignorance or fear is no excuse. It doesn’t take much research to see who invented and dominates Communism. The Left always allied to Islam. The odds are they also invented Islam. They are in fact the Islamists. This is the Age of Revelation where the lies of Satan are finally unfolding to the world.

Democracy has been a lie from the start. Where do you think the Catholic Monarchs disappeared to? Killed off or forced into exile. Tertullian has a great explanation on the Jews and Catholics being like two pans on a scale…..- google rest (and he even says that’s why conspiracies do exist!). E Michael Jones is also a great source.

        • ” The Left always allied to Islam. The odds are they also invented Islam. ”

The Left did not invent Islam. Read The Great Heresies by Hilaire Belloc. According to Belloc, the ideological roots of it are the early Christian heresies, Judaism (even though the Quran specifically condemns both Christians and Jews) and paganism.

Their calendar is 622 years behind us so it’s the year 1395 for them.

          Hope this helps.

          Margaret 🇺🇸

  5. A reader who reads behind the news – Fake and “Real” – sent me this link to an American interview clip with a politician who argues that there needs to be an investigation into the Charlottesville riots/pulling down of statues… Makes very interesting hearing… It’s not YouTube so cannot post the video directly. Click here to view

    • Editor,

Yes, Charlottesville was a “false flag” operation, deliberately incited violence by an organizer who formerly worked for the leftist “Occupy Wall St.” crowd of anarchists, and which could then be blamed on Pres. Trump in some twisted manner. And they managed to find the twisted manner….and ultimately, failed…..

  6. In the midst of Hurricane Harvey about a statue of Our Lady that survived – click here to read all about it.

I especially loved this quote: “Some may blame God and some may blame the hurricane but the only thing standing were holy things,” homeowner Natali Rojas told KRIS. “As you can see this statue is the only thing that survived. I dug in there for things and all I found is a Virgin Mary.”

I can’t get the image to open here, but if you click on this link you will see it. It is posted within the article via a Twitter link as well.

I’ve now found a short video report online…

I’m sure we’re all praying for the people in Texas – I emailed one of our American readers to promise prayers for her daughter who lives in Texas. A huge trial. God help them all.

PS thanks to MargaretUSA for emailing the link to the news about the statue.
