USA Election – Exposed: Hillary’s Subversive Activity Against Vatican…

Hillary Clinton & John Podesta

Hillary Clinton & John Podesta

Adrienne – a visitor to our site from Destin, FLorida – writes: “I’m deeply concerned by the anti-Church activity of our brother in Christ John Podesta and his friends. It is even more dangerous than their support for abortion and same-sex marriages, by itself. And I don’t want this issue to be talked round and forgotten.

I’d be very glad if you could publish my piece, because the mood of ordinary believers is quite an important thing that unfortunately haven’t been properly covered by our media.”

Clinton against the Vatican. Will the Holy See withstand?

According to the e-mails published by Wikileaks on October the 8th, Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign chief John Podesta is the most influential man in Soros’s war against the Vatican. Having close financial ties between them, both the “left” billionaire and the Democratic Party leadership are in favor of legal widely available and federally funded abortions as well as of full public acceptance of same-sex marriage. At the same time, the Catholic Church (to which almost every third American and about 40% of immigrants belong) remains committed to traditional values. Therefore, despite theologically enacted nonpolitical nature of the Catholic Social Doctrine, the Church’s voice is inevitably a hindrance for both: Soros and the Democrats.

So, in February 2012, the Democrats were eager to gain support for their Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare, that required contraceptives and abortion costs to be included in the health insurance plans (and a refusal to fund birth control measures was labeled as “gender discrimination”). Hence, the president of the Voices for Progress, Sanford Newman wrote an e-mail to the Center for American Progress (CAP) founder, a longtime Democratic Party lobbyist John Podesta. Newman asked his opinion on the feasibility and possible ways of preparing the “Catholic Spring”. According to the Voices for Progress chief’s idea, it was necessary to somehow “plant the seeds of revolution” within the Catholic Church, so that the believers themselves would “demand their bishops to end a middle ages dictatorship” and better respect equality of the sexes. As a Jew, Newman recognized that he wasn’t familiar enough with Christianity, and carefully posed his offerings as hypothetical. However, John Podesta said bluntly that Catholics in Alliance with the Common Good (CACG) and Catholics United (CU) had already been created exactly for this purpose. He also complained about the lack of leadership and recommended that Kathleen Kennedy Townsend be consulted on this effort.

Indeed, since 2005 when these NGOs were established, they have been financed by the Soros Foundation and the Open Society Institute, either directly or through intermediary entities controlled by the progressive billionaire’s organizations. In their turn, CACG’s founder Tom Periello and its Chairman Fred Rotondaro are senior fellows at the Soros-funded CAP established by Podesta.

Criticism toward CACG and CU, who advocate the ordination of women and vindicate abortion and sodomy, has been heard since 2007. In 2008, Archbishop Charles Chaput stated that these organizations were compromising the Church. He also said that before the 2008 presidential elections two CU representatives had been accusing the Catholic Church of supporting Republicans and had been trying to urge him [Archbishop Chaput] to stop condemning abortions. In addition, Catholics United, which has nothing to do with the Church, was critical of the bishops who denied Communion to politicians who supported the legalization of abortion. Another critic of these liberal NGOs, Catholic League president William (Bill) Donohue also recalled how Chris Korzen, the CU Director at that time, tried to have him booted from CNN. In turn, CACG has been organizing events for liberal Catholic priests and lay people throughout the country. As a result of this manipulation, a misguided impression that Soros and Democratic Party’s initiatives were consistent with Christian theology was created. Thus, recently revealed correspondence has only confirmed pre-existing assumptions about the involvement of Hillary’s inner circle in the subversive activity against the Vatican.

It should be noted that the John Podesta’s attitude toward Catholics is not an exception but a norm for his party. For example, among the Hillary’s campaign Chairman’s emails one more derisive conversation was found. And it was between the current HRC director of communications Jennifer Palmieri and former Democratic chief strategist, CAP senior fellow John Halpin. The aforementioned Kathleen Kennedy Townsend has also claimed that the teaching of the Catholic Church encouraged “bigotry and harm”.

The U.S. Catholic community has met the attempts to distort the teachings of the Church, as well as politicians’ efforts to interfere with its affairs, with harsh criticism. President of the USCCB, Archbishop Joseph Kurtz stressed that such actions might appear to be “troubling both for the well-being of faith communities and the good of our country…Catholic beliefs had come to us from Jesus, not a consensus forged by contemporary norms ” Catholic League President Bill Donoghue advised the Democratic candidate for US president to dismiss her campaign Chief John Podesta. In his turn, president of the CatholicVote.org Brian Burch called for the resignation of Jennifer Palmieri and reminded us how Hillary Clinton herself had referred to conservatives as “basket of deplorables”. However, the Holy See hasn’t commented, yet, on the subversive efforts of Clinton’s team.

Will St. Peter’s successor defend the right of believers to live in accordance with Christ’s commandments and protect the Church’s teachings from the encroachment of politicians? Is Pope Francis to put in their place the representatives of the American financial and political elite trampling on religious freedom in the eyes of the world? According to my American Catholic acquaintances, it depends from whence the Pope’s benevolence and concern for the poor originate: Marxism or the Lord’s commandments. The response of His Holiness, as well as its absence, will show what he is to a greater extent: Catholic or “leftist” – they say.

Comments invited – not least from our American Catholic brothers and sisters, out there. Are any of you seriously thinking of casting your vote for … that [anti-Catholic ] woman?

  1. A true Christian (not only Catholic) would rather vote vote for a candidate whose beliefs aligns with the teachings of Christ and not anti-Christ. I’ll advice the American voters to vote for the GOP, they should not allow party sentiments to make them betray their faith.

    • WorldCatholicsBlog,

I take it the GOP is another name for the Republican party? I definitely can’t see how anyone could vote for Hillary Clinton – she is diabolical and I mean that, literally. She is doing the work of the devil. At least Donald Trump is pro-life and isn’t depending on dirty money. I hope Catholics vote for him in droves, that would send a clear message to the establishment and to the Clintons.

      • Josephine,

I’ve just Googled and GOP means Grand Old Party – another name for the Republican Party.

I’d encourage Catholics to vote for Mickey Mouse rather than Hillary, aka Killory, aka Hellory… or, as I am inclined to call her that woman !

    • WorldCatholicsBlog,

Thank you for linking through to this blog from yours – I hope plenty of Americans find their way here to express their shock horror at the blatant attempts to undermine the teaching of the Church from within – blessed by Mother Not-So-Superior Clinton. Disgraceful.

I notice you’re not giving away anything about yourself on your blog – would be nice to know a bit about you, not least so that we need not run away in terror at the sight of your chosen avatar 😀 I mean, you’re aware that Papa Francis is, as Laura says below, very likely to agree with Hillary about removing certain divinely bequeathed teachings from the catechism?

  2. Well, there’s been nothing about this on the TV news here in Scotland. I saw a lengthy piece about Hillary on BBC but not a mention of this. That’s typical. They want her to win so they’re covering up as much as possible. What if it had been Muslim teachings she’d been wanting to suppress? That would have been all over the news the minute it was leaked. Where would we be without Wikileaks? We’d know nothing!

Yes, I voted for the Vatican to publicly condemn Hillary’s subversive action against the Church, but they won’t do a thing. Too desperate to be liked, so they’ll say nothing. This pope probably agrees with her anyway, LOL!

    • Laura,

What if it had been Muslim teachings she’d been wanting to suppress? That would have been all over the news the minute it was leaked. Where would we be without Wikileaks? We’d know nothing!

Well said. I mean, really… WELL SAID!

      • Dear Madam Editor,

The late Andrew Greeley (who was on the same end of the ecclesiastical spectrum as the modernists) once wrote:

“Anti-Catholicism is the last acceptable prejudice in America.”

As the old saying goes: “Even a broken clock is right twice a day.”

        Yours in Christ the King,

        Margaret

        • Margaret USA,

The late Andrew Greeley was not only a modernist priest but he wrote pornographic books. I’ve never read any, I hasten to add, but I had a work colleague who did read them, including during lunch breaks. The lurid covers were shocking enough. Having then to answer the colleague’s question (a non-Catholic RE teacher) where did he get his information/experience? [to write his explicit material] just knocked me for six – or should that be “sixty”…

So, frankly, whatever he said about Catholicism, is of no interest to me – nor should it be to any Catholic with even a glimmer of Catholicity in his/her soul. I’d sooner quote Hillary Clinton (on anything) than “Father” Greeley. And, be assured, I will NEVER quote Hillary Clinton – on anything!

          • Dear Madame Editor,

I agree with you wholeheartedly re Andrew Greeley.

Full disclosure: My first job was in a public library. I had to return the books to the shelves. It made me sick to my stomach when I had to handle his books. In a saner age, his books would either be on the Index, burned or not printed at all.

The reason why I mentioned it is because he was quoted in the Philadelphia Inquirer when PJPII came to the US in the 1990s (forgot the year).

I have NO intention of promoting him or his works.

If I have scandalizes you or any of the CT family, I humbly ask your forgiveness and the indulgence of the entire CT family.

+O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.

+O God, cleanse me of my sins and have mercy on me.

+ I have sinned without number; forgive me, O Lord.

            • Margaret,

No need to apologise – I know you meant no harm. I still remember the utter shock with which I saw the book my colleague was reading and later – ironically, in the public library – came across his books and each cover was more lurid than the previous one.

Hence, while his quotes about the Church (being the last acceptable prejudice etc) are true, I wouldn’t credit him, given that he, himself was, without a shadow of a doubt, entirely anti-Catholic. I don’t know the publication you mention – the Philadelphia Inquirer – but it will always suit a secular publication to make an immoral priest like Greeley appear to be orthodox. That’s how the majority of the unthinking “faithful” are led astray. So many still belong to the “If Father says it/does it, must be OK” and the modernists and secularists use that to their own ends.

Anyway, don’t worry – you’ve not scandalized us. I made my response to your comment more in a spirit of ensuring that you are aware of his scandalous writings, than as a rebuke.

              God bless.

  3. Pope Francis really hasn’t got any Catholic faith at all. He thinks the people, not God, “are sovereign” and he doesn’t seem to realise that consciences can be malformed. This is what he said in one of those plane interviews he is always giving (for someone supposed to be concerned about the environment and pollution, he makes an awful lot of plane journeys.)

“In a lengthy press conference aboard the papal flight back to Rome Oct. 2 after a weekend visit to Georgia and Azerbaijan, the pope was asked what counsel he might give to Catholics who are unhappy with both Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and Republican candidate Donald Trump.

“I never say a word about electoral campaigns,” the pope replied. “The people are sovereign. I will only say: Study the proposals well, pray, and choose in conscience.”

He’s never going to rock the boat by complaining about Hillary’s “subversion” – I agree with Laura that he probably agrees with her anyway, as he’s already said he doesn’t want us to obsess about the murder of unborn babies and he is now saying morality has to be on a case by case footing, including for transgender people – posted the link on the General Discussion thread, but will post it here as well, and hope it’s not thought to be off topic. https://www.ncronline.org/news/vatican/francis-sexual-morality-determined-case-case-even-transgender

  4. A vote for Hillary is a vote against Christianity. Stand strong and vote for the rights of all to live in Christ’s love.

    • Joan,

You hit the nail on the head. Nobody with any moral sense at all, let alone a Catholic, could possibly vote for Hillary Clinton. Any claims to act conscientiously so to do, means that person’s conscience is malformed – with bells on!

      • The are four candidates: Trump, Clinton, McMullin and Johnson. Only two of them have any possibility of winning.

        • I was poking fun at Lionel’s comment (Lionel is French and lives in France) because of the “both” PLUS Trump, pretending to read that as “three” when he was clearly referring to the two front-runners, Clinton and Trump.

Thank you, though, for providing the names of the other two candidates who are never mentioned in reports in the UK. There’s occasionally a passing reference to the fact that there are other candidates (“of course…”) but “no names, no pack drill” seems to be the policy.

      • I should have write: “I would not vote for any of them, although i prefer Trump to Clinton”.
That must be better, is it not?

        • Lionel

May I ask your reasoning in this? We have one candidate (Hitlery Clinton) who is a rabid pro-abortionist, and another (Trump) who has said that he would support pro-life initiatives, if elected. Isn’t that sufficient reason to give him the vote? Especially when we know, for certain, that if he doesn’t get in, she will? I’m struggling to understand how there is any excuse for not voting for Trump; if we had a candidate in this country who said they were pro-life, and who had a chance of power, I wouldn’t hesitate. As I said earlier, what’s to lose?

          • Sure, if I were living in America, I would certainly vote for Trump. However, as I am not concerned I can allow me some fancy…
In fact, I am a monarchist, therefore I do not trust people voting for a Head of State neither for a Prime Minister… I believe in local elections only.

  5. I applaud Adrienne for her efforts, and I agree wholeheartedly that Clinton is the embodiment of evil (or, the “culture of death”), but I think she is being a bit naïve about the hierarchy and about those Catholic spokesmen she has quoted. For example:

    1. “…the Catholic Church…remains committed to traditional values…” No it isn’t. That is the entire modus operandi of the post-Conciliar era: pay lip service to tradition while undermining it and contradicting it through “pastoral praxis” at every turn. And now that we’ve reached, under the Pontificate of Pope Francis, the abyss of convergence with the French Revolution, there is no longer even lip service – just outright Marxism. Truly we have reached a “Reign of Error.”

    2. This lip service can be demonstrated by the pathetically weak responses of Abps. Chaput and Kurtz to this and previous revelations. ++Chaput is slightly to the right of useless, and has done absolutely nothing to promote tradition in his diocese. ++Kurtz’ statement, linked in Adrienne’s article, is just lame, and besides not even mentioning Clinton by name, he does not even know what the Church teaches about religious liberty! (“…I encourage all of us to take a moment to reflect on one of the founding principles of our republic – the freedom of religion.”)

    3. Bill Donohue is no defender of tradition either – and for him to demand resignations of Podesta and other staffers is just silly. Does he really think that will change anything about Clinton or her dirty campaign?

    4. The naiveté culminates in the last paragraph, when she asks rhetorically if Francis will protect the flock from these monsters. She knows full well he will not – in fact, let’s tell it like it T-I-IS (as a black comedienne used to say): Francis, the tool of George Soros and the New World Order, is in fact Podesta and Clinton’s dream fulfilled!

Finally, the only American prelate I know of who has confronted this scandal forcefully is the Abp. of Denver, Samuel Aquila: https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/denver-archbishop-blasts-democratic-platform-catholics-cannot-support-pro-a?utm_content=buffer55c93&utm_medium=social&utm_source=+lifesitenews%2Bfacebook&utm_campaign=buffer

As for the vast majority of the rest of the USCCB, which has been in bed with the Democratic Party of Death for more than a generation, and who is responsible for the election of Obama, twice – I predict you will hear very little besides the sound of crickets. Oh, and the sound of Cardinal Dolan yukking it up with pro-abortion candidates at his Al Smith dinners.

    • RCA Victor,

As always, you say it how it is, and that is always very refreshing!

I’m not that knowledgeable about the politics of your country but since America is like the World’s Policeman, I think we’re all getting clued up about this election. Either of the two candidates seem less than desirable, with Clinton being totally unacceptable to anyone who knows anything about her history.

I’m sorry to read that only one of your bishops has spoken out – in a country the size of the USA that’s disgraceful. The rest should be hanging their heads in shame. How are the faithful to know how seriously offensive to God it would be for any of them to vote for pro-abortion-up-to-birth Hillary?

Can you clarify something on that for me? Does “partial birth abortion” mean that they are actually killing a baby as it is being born? Shudder. If so, that’s completely savage, and that would make Clinton a barbarian.

      • Lily, RCA Victor is technically correct about partial birth abortion but it gets worse than that. An American midwife friend told us that she has personally witnessed a LIVE full term baby being born and, when the head emerges, a scissors was inserted into the carotid (neck) artery, opened, and the child bleeds to death, and so is born dead.

I could tell you worse stories than that but I’ll spare your sleep pattern. Absolute barbarians!

        • Crofterlady

Seems your midwife friend is, tragically, correct. Read this detailed description, although, be warned, it is utterly sickening – and yes, barbaric. Only a Catholic without a conscience, could possibly vote for that woman.

    • RCA Victor,

I agree. Nobody needs to be an American to know that the USA bishops AND the Vatican will take this insult from Clinton without a murmur. They’re not real Catholics, strange as that may sound, because they’ve sold out the faith for a mess of pottage. They’d rather (like Dolan) sit beside these evil politicians at a posh dinner, than speak up to correct them never mind denounce them for the evil they are pushing.

John Podesa (I’d never heard of him before) is obviously as crooked as Hillary. Birds of a feather, as they say.

  6. RCA Victor,

Thank you for that. I agree that she’s a barbarian anyway, since she is all for abortion no matter what.

  7. I’ve spent a few minutes checking out The Remant site and found this fascinating 8 or so minutes Fox News interview showing the bias of the media against Trump. The interviewee is brilliant – if only we had someone over here like him – brave enough to corner the puppets in the media in similar fashion, showing up their bias for what it is. LOVE the bit where he challenges “Kelly” to call Bill Clinton “a sexual predator” (as she called Trump) – Watch her squirm her way out of that one! Fantastic!

    • It was great to see that silly woman put in her place. I’d love to see that happening over here, LOL! Fat chance!

    • I watched Michael Gove being interviewed by a Sky news presenter this morning and admitting he made a mistake after the EU referendum by his stabbing Boris in the back. When the presenter (don’t know his name) kept on pushing him, Gove eventually asked if he had ever made a mistake since he’d said things in the referendum campaign on the remain side that didn’t happen (economy would plunge into recession etc) so the presenter had to admit that was the case, but it’s very rare to see a politician wrong-footing the interviewer. They usually just act like lap dogs, answering questions and going away quietly, LOL!

I agree Kelly was well and truly put in her place.

    • And look who is tipped for the top diplomatic job in Trump’s new administration:

Mr Gingrich, who recently accused Fox News presenter Megyn Kelly of being “fascinated” by sex, made a failed run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2011.

      It’s him above!

  8. It would be better for a child’s soul even if it was allowed a few days on earth, callous as that may be, before the butchers were called in. At least, that way, they would have the chance of being baptised, a thing that even the anti-abortionists or the Catholic hierarchy never seem to concern themselves about.

Having said that, could these children benefit from baptism of desire, or blood even?

They are certainly martyrs in my book, God rest their poor wee souls.

    • Frankier,

Baptism of blood or desire doesn’t apply to this situation, as far as I know but we know that God in his justice, love and mercy will not allow any murdered infant to suffer – that soul will be happy forever, whether in a natural happiness (Limbo) or in Heaven – that’s the main thing.

    • Well, Editor, most of my family has gone on to their eternal reward, and those who haven’t are either apostates or pseudo-pagans, so there goes my vast network of influence!

One of the things I found most amusing about that Fox News clip is this woman’s surprise at being called a member of the establishment! Fox News is, obviously, part of the Fox Network, owned, last I knew, by Rupert Murdoch, whose programming is the most sex-laden on American television. So how about the hypocrisy of participating in the sex-based character assassination of Donald Trump out of one side of their mouths, while ginning up sex night and day out of the other?

    • Therese,

Because most American Catholics have become so conditioned to the compromised environment of the Novus Ordo Church that they no longer recognize evil when it is staring them in the face. Esp. when their so-called shepherds are distributing blinders by the truckload.

(Or, if they do sense evil, they want to “dialogue” with it instead of condemning and rejecting it.)

      • RCA Victor,

Seems Hillary’s not getting off the FBI hook after all. Today’s news is very interesting indeed, that the FBI have re-opened their investigation into her emails shenanigans. Who needs to browse the Fiction section of any library when there is so much real life drama and intrigue going on around your election!

        • Yes, I saw that, Editor, but I’m not holding my breath. Clinton seems to have enough dirt on key people in Washington to be able to squelch any effort to put her where she belongs: behind bars. Still praying though….

          • RCA Victor,

I’m sure you’re right because when you go into those cupboards and find all the skeletons therein, it’s astonishing that she is still on the loose, let alone running for President.

And despite the mention of Wikileaks in all of this, our media has never mentioned the emails insulting the Church and referring to suppressing Catholic beliefs. They really are all in it together – on both sides of the “Pond”.

  9. Here’s an interesting report – eternal damnation for those who vote for Clinton

Seems the Diocese of San Diego disagrees – religion and politics should not mix – Church doesn’t tell people how to vote. And that’s why, of course, we have the Godless politicians with whom we are stuck, running this equally Godless and dangerous world. Have you ever known any other leader(s) to so minimize the importance of their product or institution, as to virtually dismiss it altogether? Crazy people.

    • Editor,

Seems the Diocese of San Diego disagrees – religion and politics should not mix.

If such is the case, perhaps they should reflect VERY CAREFULLY on the following Church teaching:

You become an accessory to another’s sin…

      I. By counsel
      II. By command
      III. By consent
      IV. By provocation
      V. By praise or flattery
      VI. By concealment
      VII. By partaking
      VIII. By silence
IX. By defense of the ill done

The words “A light shining in the darkness” comes to mind..

  11. This just in from Rorate Caeli – hope it helps our American brothers and sisters.

    • Crofterlady,

Thank you for posting that video. John Pilger’s interpretation of the media role in politics is excellent. For a split second I thought of emailing it to all the usual suspects, but then I came to my senses!

  12. Crofterlady

Thanks for posting this. In my youth I detested John Pilger; he has redeemed himself in my eyes and I found his analysis most interesting, thought provoking, and frightening in its implications. Age seems to have mellowed us both. (I knew they’d be an upside if only I looked hard enough…)

    • Helen,

“Eighty-six-year old Hungarian-American, George Soros, is a very rich man. He currently ranks number 46 in the very exclusive club of richest persons in the world.”

What’s in it for him? Power… The ability to control world government policies (not to mention Catholic teachings…)

      Read this

PS – I copied the first link that came up on my Google search, so apologies if it is too sympathetic to him. He’s a devil in disguise, if the company he keeps and the Wikileaks emails are anything by which to go!

    • Helen,

If Soros has control of governments and the Church, he can more or less run the world. Can’t you see that?

    • Helen,

When you’re a leg man/bag man for the globalist elite, then one of your current goals is to undermine, weaken and destroy any nation that poses a threat to world government, by any means possible. World government, by the way, = the United Nations, whose charter was written by Communist agents, and whose driving force is Freemasonry, i.e. their god, Lucifer.

In order to achieve this nefarious goal, many means are employed, such as: open borders/waves of “refugees” whose religious beliefs are inimical to the once-Christian West; “free-trade” agreements, which destroy the middle class and the industrial infrastructure of Western nations; currency speculation to devalue the national currency; the establishment of a fifth column media to orchestrate the denunciation and ridicule of anyone (such as Trump) who opposes the globalist agenda; the promotion and enforcement of such hoaxes as “man-made climate change,” which is just a cover for an oppressive tax scheme and deprivation of rights; the conversion of major religions, esp. the Catholic Church, to the UN agenda (look up “Agenda 21,” and you should recognize many of the alien initiatives that come out of Francis-Vatican)…

On a cultural level, the promotion of homosexuality, transgenderism, abortion, contraception and euthanasia, the “rights” of criminals, the funding of “grass-roots” organizations (e.g. “Black Lives Matter,” “MoveOn.org,” “the Open Society Foundation”) allegedly dedicated to social justice, but which in reality foment anarchy, racism, police hatred, rioting, and general disorder; the “equality” cult…in short, the agenda of the Marxist Frankfurt School and their “long march through the institutions,” which is to render the culture of the West so internally rotten and immoral that it will collapse, but most of all so that its citizens will become ripe for totalitarian thought control.

All this, of course, under the guise of benevolent-sounding lies: peace, social justice, the preservation of the earth, international understanding, mercy, compassion, diversity, inclusion…

    • Helen:

      MONEY and POWER.

These two words sum up the desires of great men through the ages. Original Sin? Weakened human nature? The desire to dominate and control?

  13. Well yes, I suppose so. It’s a power thing which I just do not understand. I mean he’s about to meet his Maker!

  14. RCA Victor, thank you for that most helpful reply. Everything falls into place now.

BENJCARTER, I suppose not but I was so naive as to think that all men, at some time or other, think of their eternal destination. It seems strange to me that they do not. Even the ancient pagans of old believed in some after life.
