Welcome to Emily Therese!

Blogger Petrus became a Dad for the 4th time at 13.57 on 5th February, when beautiful little Emily Therese weighed in at 9 lbs 6.

Petrus remembered that we’d had a thread to mark the birth of his baby son, Patrick, and his other two sons were also welcomed into the world on this blog so we decided to launch this thread in order to allow us all to offer our warmest congratulations to Petrus, his wife and sons, as well as giving a huge and loving welcome to baby Emily Therese. God bless Emily Therese!

  1. I forgot two things:

firstly, to ask Petrus whether or not the baby will get both names all the time or just “Emily”

secondly, to say that baby jokes (nice ones only of course) would be welcome on this thread. But only once you’ve said…

Congratulations, Petrus, and welcome baby Emily Therese! 😀 😀 😀

    • Editor,

Thank you for this lovely thread. She will simply be known as Emily (except when she’s in trouble!)

Thanks be to God, Our Lady and St Gerard that all went well!

    • Leprechaun,

Thank you. My wife has been wearing the blessed St Gerard medal that you sent us some years ago. It has been a source of grace and comfort.

  2. That’s lovely news. Lots of love for the new baby. Emily Therese is a beautiful name.

Congratulations, Petrus and God bless your little daughter.

  3. All the best, Petrus. Congrats to you and your wife and prayers for Emily Therese. With a name that cuts down to ET, shouldn’t these congratulations be on the extra-terrestrial thread? 😀

  4. A hearty congratulations to you and her good self Petrus.
Prepare yourself though because as the saying goes …..Boys will wreck your house,
but girls will wreck your head! (smiley here).

    Bring on the dolls!!!

  5. May I add my congratulations Petrus and your wife. Emily Therese is such a beautiful name. You will have my prayers for your family, alongside this new addition to it. God bless all of you.

  6. Petrus,

Warm congratulations and a very warm welcome to Emily Therese, a little sister for your boys. How wonderful! She’ll be well protected as she grows up!

Prayers and best wishes to you and your wife at this wonderful time.

  7. Great news indeed! Congratulations to you, Petrus and your wife on producing a bouncing baby girl. A daughter! You know what they say: “a son’s a son till he marries a wife, a daughter’s a daughter the whole of her life!”

Prayers and very best wishes for a happy life for baby Emily.

  8. Great news. Welcome to the world Emily and love to all your family.

(Poor wee soul, with three big brothers watching out for her she is never going to be allowed to get up to any mschief!!)

  9. Just think. Emily is going to be congratulating herself on having three brothers, whilst each of those brothers is going to be asking himself why he has only two brothers!

  10. Petrus,

With all joyous congratulations and best wishes to your good self, lady Petrus, your boys and your new beautiful bundle of joy. May God bless her, and you as you and your wife raise her in the Catholic faith.

I hope you paid Mr Stork his fee?

  11. How wonderful! I wish Emily Therese every peace and blessing in her life.

Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Petrus 😀

  12. Heartiest congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Petrus, and to little Emily Therese:

    May strong arms hold you,
    caring hearts tend you,
and may love await you at every step.

  13. Petrus,

I forgot to say the other day when offering congratulations to both you and your dear wife, if it is likely that Emily Therese will rule the roost where her older brothers are concerned. You never know.

  14. Petrus

Many congratulations to both you and your wife on the arrival of your baby daughter.

Little Emily Therese is certainly amongst those lucky children with the best possible start in life, being born into a family holding the Faith, the pearl of great price.

  15. Emily Therese was baptised today. She is a gorgeous baby and didn’t utter a sound during the beautiful traditional Baptism, which was clearly explained throughout by the SSPX priest who administered the Sacrament. Afterwards, Emily was consecrated to Our Lady – which is customary at the end of baptisms in Society chapels.

Welcome to the fold, Emily Therese !
