A Happy New Year To All Our Readers!

As you would expect from a Catholic blog dedicated to promoting Tradition, we offer our readers a traditional Hogmanay greeting – Auld Lang Syne (“for the sake of old times”…)

Feel free to post your new year greetings, jokes and anything that comes under the heading “good clean fun” to mark the passing of the old year and the arrival of the new.

Can’t think of any new year jokes right now but I know that tomorrow, I’ll remember 2013 like it was yesterday πŸ™‚

Happy New Year everyone!

    • Thank you Louise – not heard from you for a while.

I wish you every blessing (from God !) in 2014.

A very Happy New Year to you πŸ™‚

  1. Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2014 is a time of grace for us all.

My new year’s resolution is to blog more often and better!

    • Crofterlady,

I need to tell the others about my phone call to you the other day so they can understand your new year “wishes” for us all…

I phoned Crofterlady, folks, when I was feeling depressed but she was really quite offhand. I told her I was so depressed that I felt like throwing myself under a bus and she really wasn’t helping. Guess what? She sent me a timetable.

So, c’mon Crofterlady, it’s New Year and we’re less than an hour away from 2014. Tomorrow, think of it, we’ll remember 2013 like it was yesterday – you just have to laugh, don’t you? Or at least smile? πŸ™‚

      Happy New Year, Crofterlady!

    • Vianney & Nicky,

      A happy new year!

The end of the month closures will take place later tonight – all December threads will be closed so please make sure you’ve had your say on those topics.

  2. A very holy new year to Madam Editor and all readers of this blog from a Garngad lad living in London. I have just returned from visiting my sister in the North Middlesex hospital where she has been since St Stephen’s day. We toasted the new year with shortbread and irn bru with girders.
